It is suggested that throughout these lessons a class mural could be formed on the classroom wall near the sacred prayer space including children's work and photos to help create an authentic and supportive learning environment that can be reflected on. The mural could take the form of a tree with its roots and branches illustrating a journey the students are taking in strengthening the relationship they have with God.
Suggestions of when to add to this mural will be noted in the lesson plans.

Teaching and learning Approach:
The designing of these lessons has taken inspiration from the Shared Christian Praxis where students will move through 5 different movements to learn about the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Christian scriptures that support it.
Inspiration has also been taken from Gardners theory of multiple intelligences with an emphasis on visual, linguistic, spatial and bodily-kinasthetic learning. As the CEO supports,
"It is most important to be mindful of engaging the emotion and creativity of students in their learning in Religious Education."
